Behavior Policy
Please check your child's folder daily.
Green = Great day
Yellow = Warning (5 Min. out at recess and note home)
* your child was asked to correct a behavior but chose to repeat the behavior
Red = Parent Contact Needed (no recess, note home, parent contact via email, phone, or conference)
Parents we need your support to maintain a positive classroom culture. Students need to understand that if they make poor decisions in school and receive a color change then there are consequences at home. We suggest having a set standard at home for the daily behavior color. For instance if your child comes home on yellow then no outside time, iPad time, etc... If they come home on red then time in their room, no fun activity on the weekend, etc... Everyone can have a bad day and get yellow or red every once in a while. However, consistent yellow or reds need to be discussed during a parent conference and possibly a meeting with the Student Support Team (SST) team.
